Stunning aquamarine Art Deco ring with diamonds set in 14k white gold (stamped 585).
The aquamarine has a very beautiful light blue color and is in perfect condition. The stone was tested by a gemologist in Zurich. Aquamarines of this size are a rarity and a great investment, as they are becoming increasingly rare. The ring dates from around 1940, from the Art Deco era, and was purchased in Germany.
 
Legends and fairy tales depict the aquamarine as the treasure of the sea. It is attributed to mermaids. Even in early antiquity, it was considered a lucky stone for sailors and travelers.
